We have seven in total, six living together and one that never took to group living and thus shares his life with the Lemurs.
Two of the six had spent 3 years in a small bird cage. Flapping their wings against the side of the cage had seriously battered them. One barn Owl at first could not extend his wings. Amazingly after a short period of time in the Barn owl Tunnel (60 metres long) their wings strengthened and they are now flying. How can anyone think it is okay to put a bird, any bird, in a cage and deprive it of the opportunity to ever fly.
